"Buhari loosing touch with economic reality" Fayose declares

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has depicted President Muhammadu Buhari's most recent remark that he was satisfied with Nigeria's financial circumstance as another pointer to the way that the President has put some distance between the monetary substances in the nation, saying; "It is bizarre that a President will state that he is satisfied with sufferings being experienced by his kin."

In an announcement issued on Wednesday, by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said clearly President Buhari's near three months remain in London had taken his psyche off the truth of the financial emergencies being seen in the nation.

Representative Fayose, who said monetary development of a country must be measured by the welfare of the general population, asked; "In what capacity can a President who has invested more energy abroad than he spent in Nigeria be disclosing to Nigerians that he is happy with the sufferings of the general population? It resembles the President supporting the sufferings of Nigerians and this is difficult," he said.

"That President Buhari, who met conversion scale at N197 to $1 said that he is satisfied with the economy when swapping scale is presently N370 to $1 is an unmistakable sign that the administration is being kept running for his sake."

"The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in its joblessness report for the final quarter (Q4) 2016 said 3.67 million Nigerians wound up noticeably jobless in one year and that the quantity of jobless Nigerians ascended from 7.51 million toward the start of October 2015 to 11.19 million toward the finish of September 2016.

"Similar NBS, said in its June 2015 to May 2016 National Corruption Report, that over N400 billion was paid as fixes to open authorities in Nigeria in one year (June 2015 – May 2016). However, they will disclose to Nigerians that they are battling defilement when for sure, debasement is flourishing under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration of President Buhari.

"As at May 29, 2015 that Buhari moved toward becoming President, sack of rice was under N8,000, a pack of rice is about N18,000 now, more than 25 states can't pay laborers compensation consistently attributable to dwindled income from the alliance record, and somebody is disclosing to Nigerians that the economy is doing admirably? Obviously the President has put some distance between genuine monetary circumstance of the nation," Governor Fayose said further.

While demanding that the President was not disclosing to Nigerians reality on the monetary circumstance of the nation, Governor Fayose stated, "Even a two year old youngster realizes that there is hunger in the land, Nigerians are eager, they are enduring and revealing to them that all is well resembles adding salt to their damage."
