Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, said yesterday, he would keep on remaining thankful to God and ex-Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd), for bringing him out of prison and schemed with others to make him President.

Talking on the sideline of the Niger State Investment Summit in Minna, Obasanjo said he had been tormented in his life however was in the long run brought out of the agonies later.
He stated: "In my life, I have been tormented and when I was having a good time in the jail yet severely, Gen. Abdulsalami hauled me out of the jail, exonerated me for an offense which I didn't confer.
